Well, lets be a little more precise; we make your table.  We don't hold stock, we don't sell something that you might want, or is close to what you were looking for. 

You choose.  You choose the dimensions.  You choose the shape.  You choose the design of the legs (or leg, if that's what you want).  You choose the wood.  Of course, we can help with all of this, or we can give you some designs to pick from.  But ultimately your table will be unique, designed for you, for your life.

And then we'll make it, from scratch, by hand.  Wood is sourced, wherever possible, locally.  The table is hand crafted by a skilled carpenter, and then stained and waxed to within an inch of its life.  All by the same person, who will then bring it to you and help you place it.

There's no veneer, no chipboard, no plywood, just solid oak - or whatever you specify.  Oh, and there's no screws or nails.  If you find one, let us know and we'll send you £100.

Things to bear in mind?  Well, there's a few:

These tables are solid, they are not collapsable, and do not come apart (unless of course, you specify that).  A large kitchen or dining room table will therefore, be fairly heavy and put up a spirited resistance to being moved once it's in situ.

Wood is a natural material.  We only use seasoned wood from quality, sustainable sources, but a little movement can be expected, particularly in centrally heated houses.  Natural grains and defects - such a knots - are part of the product.  Look closely at the table leg on Your Table and you'll see what I mean.

If you're thinking about that 18 foot banqueting table you've always wanted, please spare a thought for access.  No problem is insurmountable, but we stand a better chance of getting it in your house if we know what to expect.
